Supporting Florida operations is in my DNA.
I have spent my entire career working alongside the teams who keep this state running, and communication has always been at the center of that work. Before joining Radio One | CSE Crosscom, I spent years at Motorola Solutions supporting critical communication across Florida, and that experience shaped how I lead today. When people have the right tools and the right support, they operate with confidence and take care of the guests, employees, and communities they serve.
That is what drew me to Radio One. For more than 30 years, our team has partnered with hotels, resorts, convention centers, amusement parks, and entertainment venues throughout Orlando, Tampa, and Central Florida. We build communication systems that help real people do their jobs safely and efficiently.
Florida is the top tourism and hospitality destination in the country, welcoming more than 142 million visitors a year. Between Disney World, Universal Studios, Busch Gardens Tampa Bay, SeaWorld Orlando, and more than a thousand miles of beaches, the operational demands never slow down. Many Tampa Bay and Orlando hotels consistently earn top ratings from national travel publications, and strong communication plays a major part in that level of performance.
What We See Behind the Scenes
If you have ever walked the back corridors of a resort during peak season, you understand exactly how much coordination is happening out of sight. It starts early. The housekeeper who is already moving before sunrise. The engineer solving problems quietly, so guests never feel it. The security team watching out for everyone. Food and beverage, front desk, transportation, catering, entertainment, maintenance, and every other department working in sync.
All of it relies on dependable wireless communication for hospitality to keep things running smoothly, safely, and on time.
At Radio One | CSE Crosscom, we help properties build out talk groups, radio frequency coverage, and communication workflows that match how their teams truly operate. A boutique property in Tampa Bay has very different needs than a multi-site resort in Orlando with thousands of employees. Our role is to understand those differences and design systems that support the unique demands of each property.
Serving Orlando, Tampa, and Central Florida for More Than 30 Years
Our roots in this region run deep. For decades, we have designed, installed, and maintained on-site two-way radio systems that give staff instant access to one another during both routine operations and critical situations. These systems vary in complexity, but they always play a vital role in guest service, employee safety, and overall operational flow.
Hospitality Safety Has Entered a New Era
Florida hotels are moving far beyond traditional push to talk radios. Many members of the American Hotel and Lodging Association are implementing the 5 Star Promise; a voluntary commitment focused on stronger employee protection and emergency preparedness.
Across Orlando, Tampa, and Central Florida, properties are now integrating:
- Video surveillance
- AI powered video analytics
- Access control
- Incident reporting
- Record management
- Real time emergency response systems
Our partnership with Motorola Solutions is key here. The Motorola Safer and Smarter Hospitality portfolio brings these technologies together, so they work as one connected ecosystem. Two-way radios, wearable panic buttons, video analytics, access control, and incident management platforms all feed into a clearer, faster, more reliable safety workflow.
The Tools That Make a Difference
Our Avigilon video surveillance and AI driven camera systems help properties achieve full site visibility. They identify unusual activity across perimeters, back of house areas, and guest facing spaces. When something looks out of place, automated alerts and built in de-escalation tools allow security teams to act quickly and communicate instantly.
Access control systems and hotel panic button solutions add another layer of protection. Through our long-standing collaboration with Motorola Solutions, we offer a full suite of emergency response and employee safety tools, including:
- Wearable Panic Button, a discreet personal safety device
- Rave Panic Button, a software application with one touch activation
- TLK 25 wearable panic button with integrated push to talk
- V200 body camera with secure video capture and two-way communication
- SentryERS emergency response system with an embedded lockdown button
Some properties implement a few tools. Some adopt the entire safety ecosystem. What matters most is giving teams clarity, support, and confidence during both everyday operations and critical moments.
Why This Work Matters
After decades in this industry, one truth stands out. Technology does not replace people. It protects them. It strengthens the work they do. It gives them confidence when it matters.
Whether we are installing a simple on-site radio system or building a fully integrated communication and safety ecosystem, our purpose stays the same. We support the people who show up every day to make Florida hospitality exceptional.
Looking Ahead…
These are exciting times for the team at Radio One | CSE Crosscom. Our communication and safety portfolio continues to evolve, and we remain committed to helping Orlando, Tampa, and Central Florida hotels stay connected, stay safe, and stay ready for what comes next.
If your property is rethinking communication or navigating new safety requirements, our team is always open to a conversation about what has changed, what is ahead, and what will support your teams best.
